Avoiding doom appears to be a skill Sarah Michelle Gellar has perfected. The star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer managed to escape a frightening situation in Paris this week. The actress was there to promote the upcoming movie Ready or Not 2.
She and her cast mates were reportedly staying in an elegant hotel in the French capital when a fire broke out. Fortunately, Sarah and those on hand to promote the flick got out unscathed.
The Ready or Not 2 star was evacuated from the premises

It was a less-than-ideal beginning to the European press tour for Ready or Not 2. The good news is that Sarah, along with the cast and crew were ready to avoid danger when it hit. TMZ reports that the fire broke out in the kitchen of the Bristol Hotel late on Wednesday morning. A press junket was said to be underway when the craziness began.
Despite the chaos, the situation said to be under control. There were close to 100 firefighters on scene to handle the fire. Reports suggest that three people were treated for their injuries.
The hotel where the incident occurred is very lavish, having hosted many A-list celebrities and politicians. It was also featured in Woody Allen’s 2011 movie Midnight in Paris. The hotel opened its doors way back in 1925.
Sarah’s focus will be on promoting that film following some disappointing news this year. Word came out that a new version of Buffy would not air. Sarah urged fans not to seek a leaked copy of the pilot episode or script.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come featured Sarah, Kathryn Newton and Elijah Wood. It came out in US theatres on March 20 and will be released across Europe in early April.
