Liann May is standing by her daughter, Taylor Frankie Paul. In 2023, Utah police officers arrested Taylor following an incident with her ex, Dakota Mortensen. Once Liann arrived on the scene, she had no choice but to admit, “Yeah, that’s domestic violence,” regarding her daughter’s alleged actions. Nevertheless, as new reports just revealed, Liann also stressed that the police’s findings might be off, since her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives daughter “is not confrontational at all.”

Yesterday, new footage of Taylor’s 2023 arrest surfaced. In this footage, we saw Liann and her husband speaking with the arresting officers. After one officer explained the situation to Liann, all Liann could say was, “Oh my Gosh, really. She’s not like that.”
When Liann learned that Taylor’s children were present, she said, “I was hoping they weren’t here. But when her husband, Jeremy May, spoke up, admitting that their daughter might wind up in jail, Liann felt shocked. She asked, “They’re going to arrest her?”
And then, Taylor appeared with an officer. “I’m being arrested, I guess, for pushing Dakota,” Taylor said. That is a bad look. So, all Liann could do was admit, “Yeah, that’s domestic violence.”
But as Taylor argued, “He pushed me too into that wooden thing right there.” Putting her mom hat back on, Liann asked, “Who pushed who first?” In response, Taylor answered, “I don’t know.”
Liann then kept herself busy, moving a barstool and a flower pot back to their rightful positions while the officers continued discussing everything with Taylor’s father. Even still, Liann remained stunned. “She is not like that, that’s why it’s so crazy,” Liann said. “She is not confrontational at all.”
