Everyone knows and loves Taylor Swift as a global pop icon. But beyond her passion for music, she also enjoys experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen. The singer has always shared her love for food with her fans. And now, Swift’s old Interview with Elle has resurfaced, where she talked about her all-time favorite Italian-American food recipe that she will be making throughout her life.
Taylor Swift once revealed what she really uses for her comfort food recipe
Taylor Swift is not only good with guitar and vocals but also in culinary arts. And the global pop icon has always shared her love for cooking new cuisines with her fans. From baking bread to cinnamon rolls, she has done it all. In fact, in one old interview with Elle, she talked about three recipes which she will “be making at dinner parties for life.” Her food choices and the ingredient swaps are once again resurfacing as they’re too good to resist, as per Mashed.
While talking about the 30 things she learned before she turned 30, the pop icon shared with the magazine that she has “always cooked a LOT.” She adds, “I found three recipes I know I’ll be making at dinner parties for life,” naming “Ina Garten’s Real Meatballs and Spaghetti, Nigella Lawson’s Mughlai Chicken, and Jamie Oliver’s Chicken Fajitas with Molé Sauce,” as her go-to recipes.
However, she quickly added that when it comes to making Garten’s Real Meatballs, she has added her own twist to it. Instead of using the three different types of ground meat (veal, beef, and pork), and fresh breadcrumbs, as the original recipe mentions, she uses “packaged bread crumbs and only ground beef for meat,” while keeping the rest of the recipe the same.
And this is not the only thing she loves to cook. During her guest appearance on fiancé Travis and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the “Blank Space” singer revealed that she now has a “very deep” sourdough obsession. “I’m really talking about bread 60% of the time now. It’s become a huge, huge factor,” the singer said on the podcast.
