In the latest of a growing list of clashes between Shia LaBeouf and the general public, a local tennis club has put out a warning to its members regarding the actor.
Last month, Shia made a then-rare public appearance at the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans, where he was arrested for assaulting bar staff and patrons. Since then, he has been spotted in several viral videos fighting with strangers across the world. In the most recent case, a New Orleans tennis club is receiving complaints about the star.
A notice was sent out to New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club members
According to an exclusive report by TMZ, Shia has been “terrorizing” members of a tennis club near his home. Patrons have been told to “stay clear” of the actor, who has a long history of legal troubles.
The outlet obtained documents sent out to the membership at the New Orleans Lawn Tennis Club regarding recent incidents. Allegedly, the notice cites “new neighboring resident whose continued outbursts have affected the club environment.” Moreover, the tabloid said the club had been subject to “ongoing disturbances” for some time now.
Shia is not mentioned by name in the notice. However, local sources have confirmed that the person of interest is indeed the Transformers actor. Anonymous locals stated that Shia sits on his porch, across the street from the club, and “has random outbursts” directed by people coming and going.
Furthermore, the former child actor “offered members money to play tennis with him and has even interrupted clinics.” However, he is not a member of the organization. His attitude has been described as “very hot and cold” by those in the club.
In the notice, the club board and management reveal they have been in touch with the New Orleans Police Department “to resolve this matter and ensure the continued tranquility of the club.”
