Keeping up with the scandals surrounding The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is like a full-time job, and now, Chase McWhorter’s sister, Aysia McWhorter, has entered the chat. In case you missed it, he kissed the soon-to-be-divorced Jessi Draper at a party this week, and it’s all so messy that even his sister is feeling confused by it.

If you’re new to this messy universe, Chase is the ex-husband of SLOMW star Miranda McWhorter. Their marriage fell apart after the soft-swinging scandal that brought these people into our lives in the first place.
Earlier this month, Jessi’s husband, Jordan Ngatikaura, filed for divorce. Jessi followed up by going on Call Her Daddy, where she accused him of cheating on her with escorts, along with a ton of other salacious accusations. She also claimed that she planned to be single for a while.
With that in mind, everyone was shocked when Jessi and Chase were spotted kissing at a party, barely a week after her divorce announcement. Jessi later sent Miranda a bouquet and an apology note, which Miranda posted to her Instagram story.
Meanwhile, Chase’s sister, Aysia, is watching all of this nonsense unfold like the rest of us. She can’t believe her brother is wrapped up in all of this nonsense. The cameras aren’t even rolling for SLOMW Season 5!
“Every day there’s something new,” Aysia began, before diving headfirst into the Jessi of it all.
“Her type is my brother? First question, how has he pulled all of the Mormon Wives?” Aysia asked. “Why are they all in line for him? I love you, Chase, but it’s getting a little bit hard to defend you.”
According to an insider who spoke with Us Weekly, the kiss between Jessi and Chase did happen, but they said, “it’s not serious.” Either way, Aysia felt surprised by how fast things moved in Jessi’s world.
She said, “I mean, I like Jessi. I don’t even want to say that, but good choice, Chase. But, like, whoa. She just got out [of her marriage].”
In addition to Miranda and now Jessi, Chase also briefly dated Layla Taylor. She turned around and started dating Chase’s brother, Mason McWhorter. It’s a big, tangled mess of Mormons, and with this latest bombshell, Aysia is asking the questions we’ve all been thinking.
Aysia wrote in the caption, “Utah can’t be this small help @chase. What are they feeding you?”
