Today host Jenna Bush Hager’s wardrobe malfunction story came out in an Instagram video from March 26, as the co-hosts recounted what happened after a night out. Sheinelle Jones revealed, “Are we going to talk about you being — I had to cut her out of her dress.”
Bush Hager confirmed it, disclosing that Jones “had to literally get scissors and cut me out of my dress,” while the latter explained that she had been on the dance floor at a party when the former started calling and texting nonstop because she could not get out of the dress. The host revealed, “I was pouring sweat, I was panicking. I’m like, SOS,” adding, “I’m like, Sheinelle, I need you to get here with the scissors ASAP.”
Additionally, Bush Hager credited Jones for dropping everything to help. She admitted, “This is the type of friend I’ve learned I have,” joking, “She left the dance floor, I believe they were playing Sean Paul, she left, she came,” before Jones ended up cutting her out of the dress right on the street.
In the Instagram caption, Hager and Jones’ official account doubled down on the joke, writing, “If you saw Sheinelle cutting Jenna out of her dress in the streets of Jamaica, no you didn’t.”
