Hulu is entering the reality dating scene with the release of its new series Love Overboard, which debuted on Thursday, March 26. Sixteen singles boarded a yacht in the Mediterranean in the hopes of finding an authentic connection. Unlike other reality dating series, Love Overboard features a horror-adjacent element that makes finding love a matter of survival. Those who are unable to secure a match risk being forced to “walk the plank,” which drops the eliminated cast member into the Mediterranean Sea from a 30-foot plank.
Lo Ollivierre was forced to walk the plank when her original match, David Fuhrmann, pursued a new connection rather than continuing their relationship. The decision stunned fans, considering David asked Lo to be his girlfriend shortly before his date with Val Zuluga.
Reality Tea got the chance to chat with Lo about David, Val, and her shocking exit from the show. The Hulu star revealed to us that David was not faithful to Val after filming.

Lo spoke to us about her dramatic breakup with David, saying she saw “red flags” throughout the relationship.
“He’s just obviously not an authentic person,” she said. “I think it was pretty shocking to everyone the way that he switched up, and then didn’t even take accountability after.”
Lo said she rarely speaks to David now that filming has wrapped. However, she did receive a surprising message from Val over Instagram.
“It was probably like September or August, [Val] had reached out to me on Instagram to let me know, to my shocking surprise, that David had been cheating on her the whole time,” she shared.
Cast member Lexi Borges predicted that David would be unfaithful to Val in the Season 1 finale, but Val stood firm in her commitment to her Love Overboard match.
