Taryn Manning’s alleged violent streak is making headlines once again. The Orange Is the New Black actress was caught on tape in an altercation with her girlfriend, Holly Hartman. Taryn appeared to be in a rage against Holly, with things turning ugly between them. The shocking fight occurred in Palm Springs. In the video, she is seen kicking a bag toward Holly. The tape cuts out as Taryn appears to lunge at Holly.
Taryn Manning and Holly Hartman have a volatile history
While they have been together for years, things between Taryn and Holly haven’t always been harmonious. In the video uncovered by TMZ Taryn is heard screaming “Look what you’ve done to my fu*king studio!” She then threatens to call the police, prompting Holly to say, “Call the police. I’ll show them you just attacked me.”
This conflict appears to be another black eye for the actress. In November, fans were concerned about Taryn’s well-being after she was spotted without a top once again.
The tensions between Taryn and Holly go back several years. In 2016, Holly filed a restraining order against her following numerous alleged brawls. One of those supposed heated conflicts prompted Taryn to ask Holly to pick up a knife, according to the latter. In 2012, Taryn was arrested for allegedly attacking Holly. Those charges were eventually dropped as Taryn agreed to do a day of community service and six months of good behavior.
During the filming of Orange Is the New Black, Taryn was dealing with substance abuse issues. Things got so bad that producers allegedly threatened to fire her in 2016 if she didn’t go to rehab. She apparently defied those orders, leaving a treatment facility after just one day. Holly had previously served as Taryn’s personal assistant and makeup artist before the two became romantically involved.
