The Bravoverse has gone into full-blown conspiracy theory mode over these West Wilson and Amanda Batula rumors. Some fans think the Summer House stars might be having a fling, but the timing couldn’t be messier, coming right on the heels of her split from Kyle Cooke. There’s also the Ciara Miller involvement. It’s a lot.
West already tried to shut it down during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, insisting they’re just friends. However, the Summer House crew spent the weekend vagueposting and tiptoeing around the headlines, sending all of those conspiracy theories into overdrive. Are we being trolled, or is there really something happening between these two?
Social media speculation about Amanda Batula and West Wilson won’t let up
When West addressed the rumors on WWHL, he kept things firmly in the friend zone. He described Amanda as his “homegirl” and said he cares about her.
West claimed, “We’re just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I kinda gotta show her the streets, you know?”
Some fans weren’t willing to accept that answer, and then things got worse when Page Six came along and reported that Ciara and Amanda were feuding over West. Their recent social media activity hasn’t been giving bestie energy, and last week, an Amazon Live they were scheduled to do together mysteriously turned into two separate streams.
Then came the Instagram stories. Over the weekend, Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, and KJ Dillard all posted selfies of themselves making confused, disappointed faces. Lindsay also uploaded a picture of herself with Ciara.
Then, Austen Kroll from Southern Charm entered the chat. Summer House fans thought his recent Instagram post seemed pointed, too.
“Pasta and f*** your friend’s exes are apparently so back,” he wrote alongside a photo of a demolished plate of pasta.
Even Kyle chimed in. After a fan pointed out that everyone seems more concerned about Ciara’s feelings and not his, he responded with a crying emoji and a hand raise. What is that supposed to mean, Kyle?
All of these posts feel cryptic and intentional. But the real question is whether the cast is reacting to actual drama or just leaning into the rumors because it’s great for business. Season 10 has been their most-watched season yet. With a spinoff already filmed for Bravo, they might just be trying to toy with their audience.
Or, maybe they really are trying to tell us something. Perhaps West and Amanda are about to make Scandoval look like child’s play. We’re not sure, but we need answers soon. The Bravoverse can’t continue like this.
Summer House airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It’s streaming on Peacock.
