Hence, Beatrice and Eugenie would seemingly attend Royal Ascot in June this year.
King Charles is still ‘fond’ of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, claims source
King Charles has reportedly shown support for Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. The sisters have been going through a tough time due to their father, ex-Prince Andrew. Due to his large-scale controversy, the monarch stripped him of his royal titles and sent him to a new home.
Things got worse after the former Duke of York was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Hence, rumors sparked that his daughters might face royal pressure because of their parents’ scandals.
However, a source told The Sun that King Charles has allegedly not left his nieces alone. He has reportedly invited them to the Royal Ascot, which is a big royal event in June. Allegedly, he has always been “fond” of the sisters. “All the signs are they’re not being judged on the sins of the parents,” an insider claimed.
Furthermore, Eugenie and Beatrice seem to have been mindful of the royal rules and protocols. After Andrew was stripped of his title, he was sent to the Sandringham estate to allegedly keep a low profile.
However, the situation got out of hand when he was arrested in February at the same property. Although he was released within 11 hours, the king released a statement, claiming to cooperate with the investigation.
According to the outlet, Andrew’s daughters have reportedly not visited their father at his new home. Meanwhile, they would seemingly attend Royal Ascot with their respective husbands and could even join the official carriage procession.
