Kylie Jenner recently watched a bit of KUWTK with her 9-year-old daughter, Stormi, and it made her so emotional that she was “weeping in bed.” The Kylie Cosmetics founder rose to fame at a young age, alongside the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family, thanks to the reality show. Now, reliving those moments with her own daughter made her feel emotional. She shares both Stormi and Aire with ex Travis Scott.
Kylie Jenner got ‘so emotional’ after watching ‘KUWTK’ with daughter
Kylie Jenner appeared on the first episode of Kid Cudi’s newly launched podcast, Big Bro with Kid Cudi. At one point, she recalled explaining the Kardashian-Jenner family’s fame to Stormi. The beauty mogul shared that she told the little girl that KUWTK is the origin of their family’s fame. When Stormi asked if she could watch the show, Jenner agreed.
After fast-forwarding through some of the inappropriate scenes, the mother-daughter duo watched some of the cute scenes together. Jenner shared that she did not anticipate getting as emotional as she did. She said, “I was so emotional after. I don’t know what hit me, but I was weeping in my bed. I don’t know why that happened to me.”
Jenner added, “I was just like maybe it’s like my daughter being the same age as I was [or] just seeing my family, and I’m just feeling so grateful for all that we’ve built, but also mourning that closeness when we were all kind of living under the same roof. It was very emotional. I didn’t know it was going to hit me like that.”
Elsewhere in the podcast episode, “The Moment” actress shared that she is currently focusing on staying grounded. “I have my family; I have my kids that I go home to that love me so much and have no idea what’s going on in this world. They definitely keep me grounded,” she said.
