If you thought things were already heated this season on Below Deck Down Under, then whew, wait until you see the newly released midseason trailer. As this trailer teases, Captain Jason Chambers is coming in hot. Soon, someone might have to “leave the boat.” Likewise, other storylines are also imploding in every department. So, buckle up, land lovers, because according to this trailer, it’s going to be an incredibly bumpy second half.
Who is Captain Jason firing and more drama to come!
Mike Durrant and Alesia Harris will not make peace this season. As fans already know, both of these yachties have massive egos. Yet, both of them are slipping up on the clock. So, in the midseason trailer, we finally see their boss giving them the hell they so richly deserve.
After sitting her stews down, Daisy Kelliher says, “The two of you have an ego. It needs to go.” After, we see Daisy talking to Captain Jason, explaining, “They’re at it again. I said, ‘Get off the boat,” to which Captain Jason comments, “You learn from the school of hard knocks.”
We then see the entire interior team, including Jenna Woudberg, having rather intense sit-downs with the captain. “I don’t take making changes lightly,” Jason explains to one of these yachties, adding, “Your behavior has forced my hand. I need you to leave the boat today.”
Next, according to this trailer, Eddy Hounsell has officially swung his sails toward Jenna. They make out a bit, but Ben Robinson enters the chat. “I like you, OK?” Ben tells Jenna. Several beats later, Jenna is in tears, and, following a chat with Ben, Eddy finally admits that he has “had enough.”
Thankfully, Ben and Ellie Dubiach are not fighting in this trailer. Praises. But Ellie is still coming in hot. In the second half of this season, her daggers will be aimed at Daisy.
To recall, Ellie likes João Franco, but João likes Daisy. “I just want you to know I stayed in João’s room last night,” Daisy tells Ellie. All hell breaks loose shortly thereafter.
