After his eviction from the Royal Lodge, ex-Prince Andrew now allegedly has two new house options, and his living situation at Sandringham has reportedly turned into a headache for other royals trying to use the estate over Easter. A new report claims that Andrew has ended up with access to two properties at once. It has ultimately left Prince Edward and Princess Sophie with a pricey backup plan for their traditional holiday break.

The Sun reported that Edward and Sophie wanted to stay at Wood Farm at Sandringham for Easter, as they usually do. However, ex-Prince Andrew has reportedly remained there while his move to a new house, the Marsh Farm, drags on — so with Wood Farm still occupied, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh allegedly had to rent another property on the estate instead.
The report says Edward even went to see his brother for a word about speeding things up, amid concerns that Andrew had not moved out as expected. However, Edward and Sophie ended up staying at the Gardens House, a cottage on the Sandringham estate that can cost up to £4,110 a week during high season, which is about 300 yards from the main Sandringham House. Moreover, the property once served as the home of the estate’s head gardener.
Now, family members are reportedly frustrated that Andrew has options when others do not, with an insider telling The Sun, “Andrew was evicted from Royal Lodge at Windsor but now has two homes at his disposal.” They added, “He is just going back and forth between Wood Farm and Marsh Farm.”
Additionally, The Sun reported that builders have worked rapidly, with luxury carpets installed along with fast broadband, and over the last couple of weeks, hundreds of boxes of Andrew’s belongings arrived, with many marked “HRH” on the side.
The palace reportedly expected Andrew to finalise the move by Easter, and it is now said to be “imminent.” But right now, the situation has reportedly left ex-Prince Andrew moving between two house options while other family members adjust around him.
