Jennifer Aniston’s relationship dynamic with her “Friends” cast has reportedly changed. A source recently claimed that the friendship Aniston used to share with the co-stars seemed to have faded. Aside from Courteney Cox, she has allegedly drifted apart from the rest of the members. According to the report, her love life with Jim Curtis could be one of the reasons, along with her busy work schedule.
Jennifer Aniston is ‘distant’ now, claims source
Jennifer Aniston has reportedly not been as close to her “Friends” castmates as she was before. A source told Star magazine that she has “grown more distant.” She has still been a good pal with Courteney Cox, but the dynamics allegedly changed with Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer. They reportedly met a few times after Matthew Perry (who played Chandler Bing) passed away in 2023.
As per the insider, the distance between the cast has grown since last year. They hinted that Aniston’s romance with Jim Curtis could have altered ties with her former co-stars. Moreover, another factor could be her work schedule. Aside from her personal projects, Aniston has been busy filming the series “The Morning Show.” Additionally, the report stated that she was the “usual connector” of their group, but things have changed for a while now.
While she might have slightly drifted apart from the cast, Aniston has, however, maintained her friendship with Cox. They played Rachel and Monica in the show, where their characters were best friends. In reality, they said to share the same dynamic.
According to earlier reports and online photos, Cox was one of the closest friends who was spotted with Aniston and Curtis in public. The girls went on a double date with their men in Malibu in August 2025. While the “We’re the Millers” star was with her yoga instructor-boyfriend, Cox was photographed with her longtime partner, Johnny McDaid.
