Lauren Conrad is back on television screens to reunite with the cast of Laguna Beach after twenty years, and fans are ecstatic. However, now that she’s done that, she’s decided to firmly put reality TV behind her for now.

The Laguna Beach Reunion is almost upon us, and fans are so excited to see the stars of one of the OG soap opera reality TV shows back together. However, for Lauren, this isn’t just a reunion; it’s also a perfect way to say goodbye to reality television.
She spoke with her Laguna Beach co-star and one-time frenemy, Kristin Cavallari, on the latter’s podcast Let’s Be Honest and talked about putting a pin in her reality TV career.
“I would love to put a pin in my career,” Lauren told Kristin. “It would be really cool to end my career with the same people I started it with. The same group of people I started with, I can also say goodbye with… it felt clean. And then when this is all over, I can…”
“Hang up that entertainment hat,” Kristin finished. The pair made their reality TV debut on Laguna Beach in 2004. After that, Lauren starred in The Hills from 2006. Kristin took her place in 2009. They’ve certainly been through a lot together, and the upcoming reunion teases a heartfelt conversation between the two.
“This is for sure your last thing?” Kristin asked Lauren, to which she replied, “God, I hope so.”
Lauren explained that she doesn’t miss reality TV. “I feel so lucky because you know, it can go a lot of ways when you’ve been in entertainment for a long time,” Lauren explained. ‘And I think a lot of people really miss it. And I didn’t.”
“I enjoyed it while I had it,” Lauren added. “We had fun, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity, and I know that, because I did all of that, I’m able to live the life I live now. But I love just being with my fam and my friends and living a quieter life.”
