This season on Below Deck Down Under, a seemingly one-sided love triangle is taking shape. You see, Elena “Ellie” Dubaich likes João Franco, and he’s not mad about that, but João does fancy Daisy Kelliher more. Nevertheless, João and Ellie have already made out, so now, Ellie is all in. But now that Daisy knows how João really feels, she might also engage. Or not, because as the preview for next week teases, Daisy understandably finds Ellie rather “petrifying” to contend with.
The Below Deck Down Under boatmances have begun
In a bid to pay Ellie back for their own separate issues, Alesia Harris informed Daisy that João actually liked her, not Ellie. This happened at the tail end of Episode 10. So, as the sneak peek for Episode 11 teases, Daisy is still considering Alesia’s statement.
“It’s flattering to hear that João has a thing for me,” Daisy tells the cameras in her talking head. However, Ellie has already “marked her territory” with João. The camera then shows how literal her statement was, since Ellie recently gave João a massage back on the yacht. “So, they need to sort that out,” Daisy admits.
Next, the elephant in the room arrives, as Daisy honestly jokes, “And then also, Ellie’s petrifying.” Back on the sand at their nighttime beach picnic, Daisy tells Alesia, “Now [Ellie]’s really gonna stab me in my sleep. She really likes him. She’s gonna bake him a birthday cake,” so “If he did say that, Ellie can never find out.”
Regardless, Daisy will still hash out the whole “Ellie thing” with João. Smiling, because her plan is fully working here, Alesia suggests, “You absolutely should, but you should do it over a glass of wine when it’s just you and him. As the sun’s going down.”
Gracious. How this pans out, only time will tell.
