Donald Trump took a jab at Joe Biden during his latest press conference centered on the rescue mission of an Air Force officer whose fighter jet was shot down over Iran. He reflected on the relationship between North Korea and the United States. He also revealed how Kim Jong Un had described Biden earlier. Trump claimed that Jong Un had always had nice things to say about him, but used to allegedly describe Biden as “mentally retarded.”

In a recent press conference, Donald Trump revealed that he and Kim Jong Un share a very good relationship. Then he asked a question in the briefing room, “Do you notice he’s said very nice things about me?” He claimed that Jong Un used to call the former president a “mentally retarded person.” Trump then reiterated the slur, “Joe Biden, he said he’s a mentally re—ded person.”
Further reflecting on the US relationship with North Korea, he boasted, “But to me, he likes Trump. And do you notice how nice things are with North Korea?” This isn’t the first time Trump has publicly mocked Biden in front of the press. For instance, last year in December, he gave the former president a unique nickname during a rally in Pennsylvania.
He first asked which name could go better with Biden, “Sleepy Joe” or “Crooked Joe.” Then he revealed that Crooked Joe wins. The president added, “I’m surprised because to me he’s a sleepy son of a b*tch” (via The Guardian).
Earlier, Jong Un condemned the US’s actions across the world. He pointed out that the nation is “committing acts of state terror and aggression.” Jong Un further added, “Whether our adversaries choose confrontation or peaceful coexistence, that is their choice, and we are prepared to respond.” Moreover, he shut down any comparisons of North Korea to Iran or Venezuela. Jong Un strongly suggested it would not face the same fate as them.
