Jake Paul talks about Charlie Kirk in new podcast episode

Jake Paul recently sat down with Theo Von on his podcast, where he talked about Charlie Kirk and said he had the potential to become the next President.

Paul conveyed that the assassination of Kirk was “sad” and asserted, “Charlie would have been the guy. He’s just awesome. I just followed all of his stuff. He was like aiming for it, though. I think that’s the problem is like,’ I’m just a kid from Ohio. That’s a high school dropout.'” As the interviewer questioned him about running for President, Paul stated that for a person to do so, they should “feel a sense of purpose and a calling to something.” He added, “And if they can make sure that that’s not just attached to their own ego, and they can make sure that there is a sense of like, ‘I can do something better, and I’m willing to put myself out there to do that.’”

Thus, he noted that Kirk had the qualities and said, “Charlie Kirk was clearly going to be the next president.”

Kirk died after he was shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University in September 2025. Following his death, Paul took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “Charlie Kirk got shot for telling the truth. That is literally it. What a mentally sick time we are living through. We need god more than ever. Praying for Charlie’s family and praying for these evil people to heal.”
