Sources share Kanye West’s thoughts on Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian’s relationship. An insider close to West shared with Page Six, “This is a good thing. Kanye [isn’t] questioning ‘Is Lewis a good person?’ He’s a sweet, smart person, a good person, and an incredible athlete.” The source added that Hamilton is an “acquaintance” of the rapper’s inner circle.
The source further added that the “Runaway” rapper “feels at peace right now with Lewis being around his kids.” “He was trustful about that. He loves [Kardashian, 45] in a way that he wants [the best for] her wellbeing,” the insider added.
As per the outlet, it’s a big difference from how the controversial rapper felt about Kardashian’s other ex, Pete Davidson. The source stated bluntly, “He did hate Pete Davidson.” In fact, when the SKIMS founder was briefly dating Davidson, West released a song threatening to beat him. The controversial rapper even released a video where he is beating a cartoon version of Davidson, cheekily titled Skete.
However, based on the aforementioned sources, West seems to be at peace with his ex-wife’s current partner, Hamilton. Kardashian and the F1 racer have known each other for over a decade, when she was married to West and he was dating Nicole Scherzinger. At the time, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Kardashian and Hamilton have plans to see each other soon. The source stated, “They ended up spending time together in the same suite as a big group of friends. It wasn’t a formal date, more like a relaxed, friends-focused setting. Kim liked having a little one-on-one time with him, too. They have plans to see each other again soon.”
