A source has disclosed to RadarOnline.com that Miley Cyrus is clashing with her mother, Tish Cyrus, over plans to reunite with Billy Ray Cyrus. They said, “Tish is very hateful toward Billy Ray. […] She doesn’t understand why Miley’s so blind to it.” They stated that the 64-year-old singer is trying to make peace with his family.
The insider also claimed that Miley is open about her complicated relationship with her father, but still wants to reunite with him. On the other hand, Tish is reportedly not interested in any such reunion. Another source said, “Tish’s view is that what he’s done in the past is unforgivable; she wants no part of him.”
“She’s finally with a life partner who treats her right and is a kind-hearted gentleman who doesn’t go out of his way to hurt others like Billy Ray did,” they added. An insider said, “There’s a lot of resentment and tension. Miley and Tish are butting heads – big-time. Both of them are really digging in.” Miley’s siblings, Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus, are allegedly also supporting her efforts.
Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus tied the knot in 1993. The couple called off two divorces; one in 2011 and the other in 2013, before finally calling it quits in 2022. While Tish moved on with actor Dominic Purcell, Billy married Australian singer Firerose. However, Billy and Firerose separated after only seven months of marriage. Meanwhile, Tish and Dominic are still going strong.
