Zendaya is gearing up to entertain fans with Euphoria Season 3. The actor will be seen reprising her role of Ruby “Rue” Bennett, the troubled teenager. Subsequently, she sat down for an interview with Drew Barrymore to promote the series. Additionally, she shared that the third installment could be the last.
Zendaya thinks Euphoria could end with Season 3
In the recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Zendaya expressed that Euphoria could conclude with Season 3. Barrymore said that she is really excited for the upcoming season, premiering on April 12. She asked the “Spider-Man” star whether it is the last installment.”
Zendaya replied, “I think so,” and the host added, “I never want to ask questions like that coz it’s not my business. And yet is this to be enjoyed?. The former said, “Yes, I think so.” Barrymore continued, “That’s I almost like need to know the mind frame,” while Zendaya finished, “Closure is coming.” She quipped, “Women love closure.”
Barrymore also asks,” What is it about our chromosomes that needs closure?” Zendaya answers, “Well, actually, I mean, what you created with this character, Rue, is also a testament to what the drama does, which is not shy away from difficult things.” The host says, “And it’s such an incredible thing to do.”
Soon, Barrymore plays a clip of Zendaya’s co-star, Sharon Stone, who joined the cast in the new season. She showers praises on the Marvel star, leaving her overwhelmed. Zendaya also notes that Euphoria cracked her heart open. “Rue taught me so much about life that I mean that crew has also seen me grow up like I owe so much to that show.” The 29-year-old further added, “Rue taught me so much about empathy and about you know redemption and yeah, she taught me a lot and I’m grateful for all of it.”
Besides acting, Zendaya also serves as an executive producer on Euphoria. She received massive critical acclaim for her performance as a drug-addicted teen. Additionally, she swept a Golden Globe Award for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
