Cardi B recently revealed on her Instagram Live that the rapper has been the victim of credit card fraud. In addition, she shared that the perpetrators have spent $60,000 on designer clothes and Apple products, and they will be sent to jail for fraud.
Cardi B issues threat after alleging that her credit card was stolen
Cardi B, who is approaching the end of her Little Miss Drama tour, recently made a shocking claim. During an Instagram Live, the rapper revealed that her American Express card, which she keeps in her purse and is connected to her phone, went missing two weeks ago.
The icon then alleged that she noticed a $40,000 purchase from Saks. However, she had paid it little attention back then, thinking it must have been someone from her team. However, she soon sensed something was off as she had not gone retail shopping since her tour started. Then again, a few minutes later, she received another notification about a $20,000 purchase at an Apple store.
As per Complex, the rapper stated, “Before I even called my accountant, my accountant called me ‘cause [they] also get a notification.” She continued, “As soon we saw it was some funny activity going on, we completely cut off the credit card.”
However, the “Drip” singer revealed the perpetrators are “going to jail” as they have “got clear pictures” of them while “trying to get money out of a Chase [ATM].” Cardi B described the profile of all the individuals who committed credit card fraud. She said, “One of you is bald-headed, with a very thick beard.” “Y’all going to jail by the end of the week… You’re lucky that I don’t got your address,” she added.
The Grow-Good Beauty wanted to share pictures of the fraudsters online, but her security team advised against it. However, the rapper asserted, “I’ma make you pay me back…”
