Sarah Ferguson is in the limelight, and not for the right reason, as it has been alleged that her remark on the late Queen made Prince William angry.

As reported by the Express, Ferguson, 66, appeared at the Creative Woman Platform Forum in May 2025. The event was held in London, and the remarks she made about the Queen reportedly created tension between her and the Prince of Wales.

During the conference, she said, “I have her dogs…so every morning they come in and go ‘woof woof’ and I’m sure it’s her talking to me.”

Apparently, she claimed that she thought the late monarch was speaking to her through her dogs. Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor inherited the late Queen’s dogs, Muick and Sandy, after her demise in 2022.

A report in Woman magazine suggests that the comment angered William. Emily Andrews, the royal expert, wrote in the publication that William was “furious” that she used such an “anecdote.”

The news comes at a time when public interest in William is increasing. There have recently been a lot of controversies surrounding the Windsors. Hence, people are now actively considering what changes the Prince will make when he becomes king.

The insider claimed that William is “not afraid” to take tough decisions as he is highly strategic. The source further said, “The monarchy is under more pressure than ever. You need someone who can make tough, unpopular decisions. He understands the stakes. This isn’t just family — it’s a business.”
