Serena Williams Shares Rare Photo With Daughters & Aunt Venus for Easter

Last weekend’s Easter celebrations called for Serena Williams to share rare family photos with her daughters and their aunt, Venus Williams. It’s not often that the 23-time major singles champion gives a glimpse of her family life, but she did not hold back for the recent holiday celebrations.

On April 7, Serena Williams posted a series of photos on Instagram. The cover snap captured her with her two daughters, Olympia, 8, and Adira, 2. While Williams posed with a hand on her hip, her little girls held up the victory sign towards the camera as they looked at each other.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist wore the Floral Paisley Long Silk Dress from Etro. It featured a low V-neckline, long sleeves, and a flowing skirt. A statement belt with a gold buckle cinched the dress at the waist. Olympia donned a white dress with a floral pattern, and Adira sported a baby blue frock with flower appliques.

The final photo of the carousel showed Serena and her daughters posing with their father, Alexis Ohanian, their aunt, Venus Williams, and her husband, Andrea Preti. In the post’s caption, Serena wrote, “I don’t share these moments often, but being their mom is my favorite place to be. I’m with them 363 out of 365 days a year — and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This weekend was everything.” Her husband commented, “He’s risen!”

During her appearance on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle” in January, the mother of two shared that she often found herself favouring her younger daughter. Sheinelle Jones asked if Olympia was a good older sister. Serena replied, “She’s the best big sister! And then the little one, Adira, she’s feisty, but she’s nice.”

She added, “I mean, I’m obsessed. I’m the youngest, so I always have to make sure that I’m not being, you know, not necessarily favorites, but being too nice. ‘Let her have it! Let her do it!’ Because Olympia will be like, ‘No!’ And I’m like, ‘No, let her do it!'”
