Kanye West’s “unpredictable behavior” has played a part
Earlier this week, Kim and Lewis went Instagram official with their romance. Their relationship has been going on for some time since they were first spotted at a hotel in Paris together, and then again at the Super Bowl in February.
But, despite their relationship seemingly going from strength to strength of late, the drama surrounding Kim’s former husband, Kanye, is apparently putting unnecessary strain on the pair.
To recap, Kanye has been in the spotlight (again!) this month. He was recently announced as the headliner for Wireless Festival in the UK, but the controversial rapper’s entry to the country was denied. As a result, the much-anticipated event was then cancelled altogether.
“The complication here is that being with Kim doesn’t come without context,” an insider told Radar Online of the impact the scandal has had on Kim and Lewis’ love. “[Kanye’s behavior] … has created a situation where any new partner has to consider the potential fallout.”
“There’s a volatility that comes with Kim’s past. And that inevitably affects how someone like Lewis approaches things,” the source went on. “He may be thinking he should race off now before it distracts him from what matters to him most – driving at the highest level.”
That insider isn’t alone in their POV. Another source offered a similar comment on Kim and Lewis. “Kim’s relationship with Lewis has genuinely been unsettled by the latest wave of drama surrounding Kanye,” they claimed. “It’s not just background noise – it has a real impact on how things are progressing between them.”
