President Donald Trump made a blistering attack on several prominent conservative media celebrities. He used his Truth Social platform to label former allies as “low IQ,” “losers,” and “nut jobs” following their criticism of his handling of the war with Iran.
Donald Trump lashes out at Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and more
Trump directed his ire at Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones. All of them have voiced strong opposition to the administration’s posture in the Iran war. “They’re losers, just trying to latch on to MAGA,” Trump wrote on Truth Social before unloading a barrage of personal insults. “They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!” he added.
The president’s post singled out each critic individually. He suggested Carlson “should see a good psychiatrist,” described Candace Owens as “crazy,” and claimed Jones says “some of the dumbest things.” Furthermore, he referenced Kelly having “nastily” questioned him about past remarks he made about comedian Rosie O’Donnell.
The latest outburst follows a week of condemnation from these people. Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host, called on U.S. military aides to reject plans to kill Iranian civilians. Candace Owens, formerly of Turning Point USA, described the Trump administration as “satanic” and urged Congress to “have the Mad King Trump removed.” Megyn Kelly stated on her podcast that she was “sick of this s—” regarding threats of annihilation. Further adding, “You don’t just threaten to wipe out an entire civilization.” Meanwhile, Alex Jones called for Trump’s removal via the 25th Amendment.
Donald Trump defended his stance in the same Truth Social post, asserting that Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens are “not ‘MAGA.'” He defined the movement on his terms: “MAGA is about WINNING and STRENGTH in not allowing Iran to have Nuclear Weapons. MAGA is about MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and these people have no idea how to do that.”
Owens and Jones have responded to the attack, while Carlson and Kelly have yet to comment.
