Megyn Kelly is calling out Fox News. The political commentator blasted the network on Thursday, calling it a “propaganda machine.” Megyn was on the network’s staff for over a decade. She is fed up with how they are handling coverage, accusing them of generating rage among other things.
According to Meghan, her former employers are pushing staff members to cheerlead while promoting patriotism to their audiences while allegedly always supporting President Donald Trump. Megyn left the network in 2017 to join NBC.
The former Fox News star is unhappy with the network’s coverage
There’s no love lost between Meghan and Fox News. On the Thursday edition of The Megyn Kelly Show, the on-again, off-again supporter of the President had some choice words about the company she once worked for. “I’m exposing what viewers refuse to see,” declared Meghan on her show. She accused the network of championing biases in favor of Trump and the military.
Megyn has made her share of polarizing takes on her podcast. While she has said that she doesn’t agree with the war on Iran, she believes the borders in the US are better off with Donald than they’d be under the Democrats. Fox and its anchors also aren’t the first to feel Megyn’s wrath. In late March, Megyn slammed Hoda Kotb for her interview with Savannah Guthrie. Megyn accused Hoda of “acting” during the emotional chat surrounding Savannah’s missing mother, Nancy.
While Megyn spent years at Fox, her time at NBC was short-lived. Her program Megyn Kelly Today, was cancelled in 2018 following her controversial on-air comments defending the use of blackface as a Halloween costume.
Unlike some former Fox News anchors, Megyn has urged audiences to use caution and critical thinking. This concerns issues such as the situation in Iran, among others. She calls that matter an embarrassing one for the President.
TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE FOX NEWS IS TOO BIASED TOWARDS THE MILITARY AND PRESIDENT TRUMP?
