Former CIA director John Brennan recently mocked Donald Trump by suggesting that the 25th Amendment was made based on the President. The remark comes amid the call for the latter’s removal from the position by Democrats and his critics. Following Trump’s military action against Iran, his critics and lawmakers have called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked against him.
John Brennan says 25th Amendment was written with Trump ‘in mind’
The senior intelligence and national security analyst recently took a jibe at the POTUS, suggesting that the 25th Amendment was crafted for him.
As Democrats’ calls for Donald Trump’s removal as President increased, John Brennan made the comment during an interview with MS NOW. Calling out the Republican politician’s “narcissism” and “megalomania,” he also referred to the ongoing war between the United States and Iran and the way Trump is handling it.
Brennan said, “I think the 25th Amendment was written with Donald Trump in mind, because allowing someone like this to continue to be the commander-in-chief and to control the tremendous capabilities of the U.S. military, including our nuclear weapons capability, which he seemed to allude to when he said he’s going to just eliminate a entire civilization.”
After he condemned Trump’s Truth Social post, Brennan added that, because of the President, they are “in very, very troubling times.”
According to a report by The Hill, while both Iran and the US are in a ceasefire, more than 70 Democrats are pushing for the removal of Donald Trump due to his aggressive military operation.
This is also due to his recent threat to Iran on Truth Social, in which the businessman-turned-politician stated, “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen.”
