Melania Trump’s speech last week has become a running joke. On Thursday, the First Lady addressed the controversy surrounding her alleged association with Jeffrey Epstein. She and husband Donald Trump were photographed with the late pedophile before, with many suggesting the disgraced financier introduced Melania to Donald.
The First Lady has adamantly denied this and any notion of a friendship with Jeffrey. Her speech was mocked by the cast of Saturday Night Live UK this weekend.

If Melania thought her speech would end the Jeffrey ties or criticisms, she was sadly mistaken. In the SNL UK sketch performed on Saturday, a few friends are having a backyard cookout while playing the game of Never Have I Ever. The actress portraying Melania then crept out from the bushes to declare, “Never have I ever been friends with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.” When asked in the scene what she’s doing there, she says she is there to stop people from “spreading nasty rumors about me.”
Rather than put to bed the speculation of a friendship with the sex offender, Melania’s speech has generated plenty of backlash and jokes. Following her address on Thursday, many of Jeffrey’s survivors released a joint statement. They accused the First Lady of shifting the burden of the Epstein files onto survivors.
Both Melania and Trump have denied being friends with Jeffrey, though they did see each other on occasion. According to the First Lady, their encounters were purely coincidental. In her speech, Melania said that “the lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”
Some believe that the implication of what Melania said could go far beyond the Jeffrey Epstein controversy. The survivor’s statement also targets Attorney General Pam Bondi. They say she must answer for the withheld files and the identities of victims being uncovered. There’s speculation that Trump’s name is redacted from those Epstein files countless times.
