Khloe Kardashian’s daughter is the newest CEO of her mom’s Khloud business, and she has taken over with a lot of sass. For her daughter True Thompson’s 8th birthday, Kardashian handed over the keys, at least for show, and let her little one run the whole thing — because, as Khloud writes in the caption, “It’s True’s Birthday… that’s the concept.”
Khloud and Kardashian’s official Instagram pages shared the video. The concept, according to the caption, is, “The Birthday Girl has taken over as Founder & CEO (for the week) and called the shots for our newest flavor. Introducing Khloud Birthday Cake Protein Popcorn.”
Khloe Kardashian’s daughter becomes CEO of mom’s business Khloud for her birthday
The playful skit shows Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True Thompson, taking over the Khloud business as CEO — at least for her birthday. It opens with a phone ringing. As Kardashian answers, True, sitting in a tall chair and wearing slim sunglasses, spins around and cuts in with, “Oh, that’s for me.”
True takes the receiver and then slides her mom a business card that reads “True Thompson” and “FOUNDER & CEO (not my mom).”
From there, True gets to work. She rejects a basic popcorn option, firing back, deadpan, “Butter-flavored popcorn? Groundbreaking. We can do better.” The scene switches to a team meeting, showing balloons, a “Birthday” banner, and True standing at the head of the table with a pointer, as if she is overseeing a real pitch.
She says, “Okay, team, it’s my birthday. That’s the concept.” She calls for “more sprinkles,” while her mom stands nearby, wearing the look of a proud mom who loves seeing her kid bossing everyone around.
After showing off her Khloud Birthday Cake boots, True finally tastes the samples and approves one with a stamp of authority. She says, “That’s my birthday cake popcorn!,” and her mom reacts like she just got a major business win.
Khloe Kardashian’s daughter may only be “Founder & CEO” of the Khloud business for the week, but in True’s world, birthdays come with lots of sprinkles and a corner office.
