Karoline Leavitt talks about Donald Trump’s late night habit
At a recent Turning Point USA event at George Washington University, Karoline Leavitt opened up about a habit of Donald Trump. Speaking with Erika Kirk, the White House Press Secretary, revealed that she is often on call late at night.
When Kirk asked Leavitt if any aspect of her job had ever kept her “up at night,” the Press Secretary revealed the “crazy” nocturnal habit of the President. “The fact that my boss is up all night and probably going to call at any hour,” Leavitt shared. Kirk then noted that the President “sleeps very, very little.”
Leavitt added, “Very little. Like, maybe four hours a night. It’s crazy. I’m a third his age, and I can’t keep up. I tell him that all the time.”
The Press Secretary went on to explain, “I think probably what keeps me up at night is that I don’t sleep as well in this job because there’s just so much going on all the time, breaking news.” She added, “You never know what you’re going to get when you wake up, whether it’s the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. And I have all the fake news media apps on my phone.”
Most recently, Leavitt lashed out at CBS News for reporting that Iran’s military capabilities are stronger than what the Trump administration discloses, citing sources. “The legacy media is doing PR for the Iranian regime… again,” Leavitt penned in an April 22 X post. “The truth is that under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. military decimated the Iranian regime’s capabilities in just 38 days,” she stressed.
