Corey Lewandowski Spotted Near Kristi Noem’s Coast House — Report

Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem reportedly continues to occupy a coast house on a Washington, D.C., military base weeks after Donald Trump removed her from the cabinet. Now, her former top aide and alleged boyfriend has been reportedly seen at the property as recently as this month.

Corey Lewandowski, who served as Noem’s chief aide at DHS, has allegedly visited the Coast Guard house multiple times over the past year, including this month, one person claimed. “Scores of people have visited Ms. Noem at the house in a business capacity,” Lewandowski said through a lawyer.

Tabloid photographs previously captured Lewandowski moving between his apartment and Noem’s former apartment across the street. Both are married and have publicly denied an affair, though DHS officials told The Wall Street Journal the pair did little to conceal their relationship.

Noem addressed her living arrangement during congressional testimony before her dismissal. “I will also tell you that I rent that facility,” she said. “I rent where I stay, and pay personal dollars to do that.” Homeland security secretaries are not typically provided government housing, but Noem relocated to the base after demonstrators discovered her private residence.

The house sits on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and is customarily reserved for the Coast Guard commandant. Kristi Noem moved in after Donald Trump fired then-Commandant Linda Fagan last year.

The Coast Guard operates under the Department of Homeland Security, which Noem led until early March, when Markwayne Mullin was confirmed as her replacement. Noem now serves as Trump’s special envoy for the Shield of the Americas, aka Western Hemisphere, at the State Department.

Now, a black Suburban SUV typically used by Noem was parked outside the house earlier this week. Coast Guard officials have also seen Noem on base in recent days. Current Commandant, Adm. Kevin Lunday, has indicated to associates he intends to move into the residence soon.
