Donald Trump Jr. might not have a White House wedding, insider claims
According to an insider, Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson’s wedding will not take place at the White House.
The insider told Rob Shuter that Trump Jr. might not have the chance to exchange wedding vows at the White House. This is because he “isn’t important enough to the President, not for something on that level.” The source added that in the US President’s view, the reservation of the White House “for moments that elevate him and the Trump brand. This doesn’t do either.” Based on the information, the US President only wants the White House for impactful family events.
Furthermore, the insider conveyed that while Trump Jr might not be on the White House event priority list, the opposite holds for Trump’s other kids. They stated that if an event for Barron and Ivanka was to take place, “it would already be in motion. You’d have planning teams, press strategy, the full spectacle locked in. No hesitation.”
Another source shared that there is a certain order within the Trump family. Although Trump Jr. remains a close aide to his father, at family events they “reveal exactly who gets the spotlight… and who doesn’t.” A White House official also supported the idea of a wedding at the location. They told Shuter, “Though it would be beautiful, a wedding has not even been discussed at the White House at all.”
