SNL alum Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt are contending with relationship challenges. The comedian and model are new parents, which has made things more challenging.
The actor and model started dating in March 2025 and announced the pregnancy four months later. Their daughter, Scottie Rose, arrived on December 12 of last year.
Pete and Elsie have hit a rough spot
Pete and Elsie are addressing their relationship issues, according to a People source. “There are issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together. They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process.” They added that their daughter is a “top priority,” the source notes.
Scottie is named after Pete’s late dad, Scott Matthew Davidson. He served as a New York City firefighter before he died responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Pete is happy being a father. In a March interview with People, he commented, “Dad life is f*cking awesome. It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can’t stress enough how lucky I am.”
He added, “It’s funny. It’s like I didn’t understand this. You’re just ready to fight anyone. It’s like, chill out. No one’s doing anything to your kid. You have this overly protective like … if one paparazzi guy pops out I’m going to f*cking beat the living sh*t out of him,” Pete continued. “So that’s a weird gear because I’m not a fighter guy.”
Both Pete and Elsie have shared photos of Scottie on social media without her face in view.
In a March 5 Instagram post, Elsie gave her daughter a shoutout on her 3 month birthday, writing, “my scottie girl is 12 weeks old today ? on the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she’d be born. my guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. how crazy and cool is that.”
