Kash Patel Claims FBI Was ‘Kept Out’ of Nancy Guthrie Case

Kash Patel recently opened up on the Nancy Guthrie case, claiming that the FBI department was “kept out of the investigation.” Recently, he appeared on the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast. While discussing the initial phase of the case, the FBI director said the Pima County Sheriff’s Department allegedly didn’t involve the FBI in the investigation. For those unversed, broadcaster Savannah Guthrie’s mother was reported missing on February 1 from her Arizona home.

Kash Patel’s take on Nancy Guthrie’s case has caught attention. He claimed that the FBI was initially “kept out of the investigation.” On the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast, the director criticized the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly trying to avoid involving the FBI.

“The first 48 hours of anyone’s disappearance are the most critical,” Patel said. Furthermore, he revealed that they had been “kept out of the investigation” for four days. He then noted that the case found a big clue when the FBI was let in. The lawyer referred to the footage that captured Guthrie’s front doorbell area. It featured a masked, “armed” man attempting to tamper with the camera. He was later reported as the prime suspect for the missing woman’s alleged kidnapping.

Moreover, Patel claimed that he himself took the initiative to find this evidence. “That’s why you have that image, because the FBI worked with Google to put that image out,” he shared. Patel also told Hannity that the FBI could have obtained that footage and “more data” if they had been let into the investigation from the beginning.

According to Patel, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department should have reportedly accepted their offer to send the DNA evidence to the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia. However, it was passed on to a private Florida lab. “They have jurisdiction, so it’s their call,” the FBI director commented.
