Tom Brady turned a celebrity roast into his own revenge tour after making a surprise appearance during Netflix’s live roast event for Kevin Hart. The former NFL quarterback fired back at Hart for jokes made during Brady’s 2024 roast, roasting the comedian’s height, career, and even jokingly flirting with Hart’s wife, in front of the packed crowd at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum.

Kevin Hart opened the night by taking shots at Brady first, joking that, unlike him, he would not act like a “f***ing bitch” while being roasted. That setup quickly backfired when Brady unexpectedly walked onstage dressed in black and immediately started unloading jokes at the comedian. He handed Hart a tiny New York Knicks jersey and mocked his height, calling it “newborn size” because “it fits you (via USA Today).”
Brady also brought up Hart’s past cheating scandal involving his wife, Eniko Hart. Referencing his own trips to Las Vegas, Brady joked, “Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off?” The line got one of the loudest reactions of the night.
He later doubled down by saying he was “too classy” to target Hart’s wife before turning toward Eniko in the audience and casually asking, “What’s up, girl?” Hart immediately shouted back, “Cut it out!” as the crowd erupted (via TMZ).
The former Patriots star did not stop there. Brady compared his football career to Hart’s movie résumé, joking, “I won seven Super Bowls; Kevin has made two ‘Ride Along’ movies.” He also roasted the event’s celebrity panel and cracked jokes about Eagles and Cowboys fans while mocking Hart’s loyalty to Philadelphia sports teams.
The Netflix event streamed live on May 10 from the Kia Forum and featured comedians and celebrities, including Shane Gillis, Chelsea Handler, Draymond Green, and Big Jay Oakerson. Brady closed his appearance with one final jab, telling Hart, “Payback’s a b—- and so are you.”
