Taylor Swift did not mingle with former Prince Andrew’s daughters. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie made a rare joint appearance at Poppy Delevingne’s birthday party, following their father, Andrew’s arrest back in February (via PEOPLE).
As per Rob Shuter, the global pop titan reportedly kept her distance from former Prince Andrew’s daughters. Multiple reports suggested that Swift spent time with the Princesses, but that’s far from the case.
One source stated, “Of course, Eugenie and Beatrice would have loved to meet Taylor. But Taylor was having absolutely no part of it.” As per insiders, Swift is fully aware of the raging controversy attached to Andrew’s family and chose to steer clear of the sisters. The person explained, “Taylor is one of the smartest celebrities in the world when it comes to protecting her image. She didn’t want photographs, headlines, or even casual gossip linking her to royal controversy and Jeffrey Epstein.”
Sources reiterated that the move was calculated and strategic and not personal. They added, “This wasn’t Taylor being rude. She was polite to everyone, but she knows exactly what stories she wants attached to her name — and this wasn’t one of them.”
