Demi Moore has proved once again why she remains an unrivaled style icon on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, as she strutted down in a see-through high-slit Gucci gown. She wore the ethereal dress to the premiere of “La Vie D’Une Femme” held at the Palais des Festivals on May 13.

Demi Moore wore a custom Gucci gown that blended structural artistry with a soft texture. The vibrant lavender dress had an off-the-shoulder neckline and delicate long sleeves. Meticulously crafted from layers of fine, shimmering gossamer fabric, the dress’s voluminous, semi-sheer fabric often caught the wind as she walked down the red carpet. Meanwhile, the bodice featured tight ruching and diagonal draping across the torso.
The fabric had a unique, almost liquid-like sheen with a subtle marbled texture. This made the dress shimmer under the photography and sharp lights, appearing almost muted and matte in softer lighting. Its long train brought a touch of old-Hollywood glamour to the almost-iridescent dress. Further, the daring high-slit on one side of the skirt revealed her legs as well as the coordinating pointed-toe pumps.
Moore was wearing lilac satin pumps that elongated her silhouette. She completed the ensemble with statement jewelry. On her ears were a pair of large, multi-faceted diamond drop earrings. Other photos showed her wearing a sparkling diamond ring on one hand.
The Golden Globe winner’s beauty look leaned into a wet aesthetic, with her long, dark hair styled in damp, textured waves pushed back from her face. Meanwhile, her makeup was luminous and natural, featuring a soft pink lip and subtle smoky eyes. These subtle styling choices allowed her gorgeous Gucci dress to take center stage.
For her appearance at the “La Venus Electrique” premiere and opening ceremony at Cannes Film Festival, she opted for a custom sequined Jacquemus gown. She was also carrying a matching bag and wearing custom shoes, also from Jacquemus.
