The remarks came after Boebert campaigned for Rep. Thomas Massie, who has publicly disagreed with Trump on several issues. Trump’s comments quickly drew attention online, as his Truth Social posts continue to face scrutiny from critics and political observers.

President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to criticize Lauren Boebert after she campaigned for Rep. Thomas Massie.
“Is anyone interested in running against Weak-Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District?” Trump wrote in the post.
“You remember Lauren moved to the District when it became obvious that she couldn’t win in her original Congressional District (The Third!) — A Carpetbagger, indeed! Boebert is campaigning for the Worst “Republican” Congressman in the History of our Country, Thomas Massie, of the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, and anybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight! Even though I long ago endorsed Boebert, if the right person came along, it would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement and endorse a good and proper alternative. Just let me know, or announce your Candidacy, and I will be there for you! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he continued.
Boebert had moved to Colorado’s more conservative 4th district ahead of the 2024 election. She recently appeared alongside Massie at two campaign events. Massie is currently facing Ed Gallrein, a retired Navy SEAL who has Trump’s endorsement.
Massie has reportedly faced criticism from Trump in recent months over disagreements on several political issues.
Boebert has long been considered a Trump ally, but reports suggest tensions between the two increased after she supported Massie’s bill related to the release of the Epstein files.
