Elsie Hewitt is reportedly ready to take ex-SNL star Pete Davidson to court over childcare costs and custody following their ugly split.
Sources close to Davidson have expressed surprise at her decision, saying, “He’s already paying her more than he has to.”
Sources say Elsie Hewitt has no issue with dragging Pete Davidson to court over custody and child support
Hewitt and Davidson got married in 2025 following a brief courtship. Their daughter, Scottie Rose, was born in December last year and was reportedly named after Davidson’s father, who died in the 9/11 attacks. Unfortunately, the couple split just five months after their daughter’s birth. Sources have reported that the couple had been facing relationship challenges long before it became public.
Hewitt has taken to TikTok and other channels to reveal that she is feeling the “full mental load” of parenthood and that she had never imagined life as a single mom. She also took time to reply to the comments on the now-deleted post where she liked a comment that said leaving your postpartum partner is “insanely loser behavior.” In another comment, she confirmed that she is also handling finances alone.
Hewitt reportedly said, “I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard,” referring to her struggles as a single mother following the split with Davidson. Sources close to her have commented about Davidson, saying, “He may want to keep things quiet, but Elise has no problem blowing things up and bringing this to court.” Hewitt has been previously involved in ugly legal battles, like the one in 2017, where she accused Ryan Phillippe of emotional and physical torture. The case was eventually settled out of court.
Sources close to Davidson have confirmed that Hewitt has no reason to file the case, as Davidson is “is already covering all of the costs relating to Scottie and also paying for Elsie’s health insurance and her apartment.” They have also reportedly claimed that the actor has “hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional opportunities.”
It seems to be the classic celeb war where one wants to keep it private, while the other believes in using the law to get what she deserves.
