Donald Trump Hopes to Be at Don Jr.’s Wedding Despite Busy Schedule

U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he will try to attend his son, Donald Trump Jr.’s, wedding to Bettina Anderson. It will be held on a private island in the Bahamas during Memorial Day weekend. The wedding will reportedly be an intimate affair with a small group of family and friends.

Donald Trump hopes to make it to Don Jr.’s big day with Bettina Anderson

The slated wedding comes after careful deliberation on the couple’s part. They got engaged in a lavish affair at Camp David in 2025. The pair were actually in a rush to get hitched. Later, however, they had decided to postpone the ceremony until complications around the Iran War cooled down. But in a recent announcement, they stated that the wedding will be moved to a private island in the Bahamas.

The planned ceremony will be intimate, with close family and friends in attendance. Insiders say that the decision was taken to avoid a lavish wedding in the White House while people are dying.

Father-of-the-groom Donald Trump, however, has not committed to attending this special occasion, stating that the Memorial Day wedding was not a good time for him, given the ongoing Iran War. Without specifying, Trump has said that he’s dealing with “other things” that may, too, keep him away from the wedding.

The US President also said that he’s going to try to make it, but noted he would be killed by the “fake news” media no matter what he decides.

Trump congratulated the couple in his signature bizarre style, saying that Trump Jr. is “a person I’ve known for a long time. He added, “Hopefully they’re going to have a great marriage.”

This will mark Don Jr.’s second marriage after being married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children. The businessman was also previously engaged to Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, whom he broke off his engagement with before dating Anderson.
