Sebastian Stan spoke to Deadline about his role in The Batman Part II. The report shared that he will soon be in London over the summer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman: Part II, where he’ll play “many roles in this one”. Based on the description, Stan seems to allude to the character’s famous “two-faced” moniker.
Interestingly, this crucial role in The Batman Part II marks Stan’s foray into the DC World. When asked about his dramatic transformation, Stan said: “I’m excited, I’m nervous, and trying to keep surprising myself.” Notably, there is speculation that the 43-year-old might not transform into Two-Face until part three (via IGN India).
Previously, the actor confirmed his casting in the forthcoming Batman movie in a podcast interview. Stan raved, “Batman, this summer, is going to be very interesting. So, I’m excited about what’s coming up ahead!” The Apprentice star also revealed that he is aware of the chatter surrounding the potential casting of the film.
Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader. It is expected that stars such as Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Scarlett Johansson, and Barry Keoghan will join him for the sequel. Notably, Reeves will write and direct the sequel. He will co-write with Matt Tomlinson.
Reeves previously dished to Variety, “It’s been a long journey, but I am so incredibly excited. I’m really proud of the script Mattson and I wrote.” The Batman: Part II is set to open in theaters on October 1, 2027.
