The Puerto Rican superstar is on his path to building a formidable resume in Hollywood by joining the popular Pixar franchise. Benito will voice an interesting character. Bad Bunny lands a role in Toy Story 5
Pixar recruited Bad Bunny for an exciting role in Toy Story 5. The animation studio announced on Tuesday, May 26, that Benito will be essaying the role of “Pizza with Sunglasses.” They shared an animated video of a slice of pizza with sunglasses dancing and jumping around. Pixar wrote in the caption: “Vamos! Bad Bunny is Pizza with Sunglasses in Toy Story 5.”
Unsurprisingly, the post garnered 130K likes and 73.1K shares at the time of writing this article. One fan commented, “From Puerto Rico to infinity and beyond.” A second fan wrote, “BENITO IN TOY STORY CANON…Bad Bunny fans know how iconic this is omgggg.”

Interestingly, the Puerto Rican star has a long-lost connection to the Toy Story universe. Long before he became a global star, Benito expressed his love and admiration for Woody, Buzz, and other iconic toys from the film (via Billboard).

He voiced all the characters himself, altering his voice to suit each new character. Benito is expanding his artistic horizons by venturing into acting. Notably, the “Monaco” singer appeared alongside Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2 and starred opposite Austin Butler in Caught Stealing. Toy Story 5 will release in cinemas on June 19.
