Donald Trump Touts Perfect Health After Medical Examination

US President Donald Trump has shared an update on his health after his recent medical checkup. After undergoing a routine medical examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Trump said that “everything checked out perfectly” amid his growing health concerns among the citizens. The president shared the news ahead of his 80th birthday on June 14.

US President Donald Trump visited the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland on Tuesday for a routine dental and physical check-up. After undergoing his “6-month physical,” Trump shared the health update, saying, “Everything checked out PERFECTLY.” He even thanked the “great Doctors and Staff” for their efforts, announcing he is heading back to the “White House.” The visit to the medical center was Trump’s third in 13 months.

The health update comes after a year of public attention to what appeared to be minor health issues. The president’s hand bruising concerned many. It was said to be stemming from “frequent handshaking” combined with aspirin use, per White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Moreover, after the photographs of Trump’s legs were published last July, White House physician Sean Barbabella, in a letter, wrote that an ultrasound on the president’s legs “revealed chronic venous insufficiency. It’s a benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.” Barbabella added that there was no evidence Trump had contracted deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease, per Reuters

Even his MRI scan last year raised some eyebrows. But according to the news agency, Trump later told reporters that he received the scan as part of his physical. He added, “Getting an MRI is very standard. What, you think I shouldn’t have it? Other people get it … I had an MRI. The doctor said it was the best result he has ever seen as a doctor.”
