Morgan Wallen shocked fans by flipping a piano on stage during his recent concert after he faced technical difficulties. The country singer’s performance was a part of his Still the Problem tour, which is in support of his latest album, I’m the Problem. The unexpected incident took place at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on Friday, May 29 (via PEOPLE).

In a video doing the rounds online, Wallen can be seen dragging his piano briefly before angrily flipping it and walking away. The crowd goes quiet for a moment, seemingly unsure how to process the incident. Another video shows Wallen walking back towards the piano as the audience cheered in response.

Rolling Stone reported that the 33-year-old musician was unable to hear the piano while he played, so he finished the song a cappella. Wallen has not reacted to the situation, but fans have shared their reactions online.

One fan commented, “That’s not very God’s Country™ of him.” A second fan wrote, “Men are emotionally stunted toddlers having tantrums.” A third fan penned, “He’s the trashy, country version of Chris Brown. Just problematic in every way.”

A fourth fan chimed in, “Don’t take it out on the instruments?? This is not a smash-your-guitar moment… this is just not professional. Not surprised though, because it’s him.” A fifth fan remarked, “Sabrina has a song about men like him.” Finally, one fan shared, “I really don’t see how damaging an instrument is something to clap about. He would have just told his crew to come take it out, like damn.”

Wallen began his ambitious tour on April 10 in Minneapolis. He is taking his stadium concert series to major cities, including Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. The grand tour will conclude in Philadelphia on August 1.
