Alexa Demie recently reflected on the career comparisons between her and Sydney Sweeney, and other co-stars from “Euphoria.” The actor said in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “It’s like, did you ever think that I don’t want it?” while referring to the discussion about her comparative lack of fame on the internet. The actor continued, “People really take the authority out of your hands.” She then questioned, “What happened to my ability to choose?” The actor also claimed, “I like my life like this, and I wouldn’t change it.”
In the meantime, per the news outlet, the writer and producer of “Euphoria”, Sam Levinson, went on to talk about his opinion about Demie not following the career trajectory of her other co-stars, such as Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, and Hunter Schafer, among others. The show’s writer said, “I think there’s a misconception about Alexa.” He continued, “And I’ve always rejected the framework of, ‘Oh, Alexa should have what Sydney or someone else has.””
Sam Levinson then explained, “Because that’s a very high school mentality to bring to the craft.” The writer-producer of “Euphoria” then explained, “I think Alexa is doing everything that she wants.” He continued, “And if she doesn’t have something, it’s because she doesn’t want it.” “I see her as completely fulfilled,” also added the writer and producer of the popular HBO series.
