“She bullied every member of the Democrat party who was even mildly critical of him on the mental health question,” Kelly said during the broadcast.
The commentator also criticized Jill’s role in Joe Biden’s decision to seek a second term. Kelly suggested that the former First Lady had been a driving force behind the campaign and accused her of ignoring warning signs that reportedly concerned others within Democratic circles.
The remarks came as renewed attention surrounded Joe Biden’s health following his prostate cancer diagnosis, which was publicly announced in 2025. During a recent appearance on Today, Jill defended her husband’s ability to serve, saying doctors had assured the family that he was healthy enough to continue working and that she witnessed him performing presidential duties every day.
Questions about the former president’s health have remained a political flashpoint since he withdrew from the 2024 election race. At the time, concerns about his age and performance intensified following his debate with Donald Trump, eventually leading to then-Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the Democratic nominee.
