Rather than avoiding the topic, Jennifer Lopez tackled the rumors head-on. Speaking with Savannah Guthrie on Today, the singer and actress explained that she frequently gets linked to people she works with, regardless of whether there’s any truth behind the stories.
“There’s never a time when I’m seen with someone, I’m working with somebody, they don’t put me with that person,” Lopez said. Goldstein joined in with a joke of his own, adding, “I think if you stand near her that’s what happens.”
When Guthrie pressed for a more direct answer, both stars doubled down. Lopez pointed out that she has been linked to several celebrities over the past year, including Kevin Costner, simply because they were seen together.
However, it “doesn’t make it true,” she said before confirming that she and Goldstein are “not dating.” The rumors surfaced as the two work together on Netflix’s romantic comedy Office Romance, which has generated significant attention since production began.
Lopez has been embracing single life following her split from Ben Affleck in 2024. During a March interview with Good Morning America, she reflected on focusing on herself and learning from the experience. She said she is content and added, “I don’t want to ruin anything. It’s so nice right now.”
Both actors bring major star power to Office Romance. Lopez built a career across music and film with projects such as Selena, Maid in Manhattan, Hustlers, The Mother, and Marry Me. Goldstein became a fan favorite as Roy Kent on Ted Lasso, a role that earned him Emmy Awards.
