Ben Affleck‘s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, reportedly hinted at an untold truth about her divorce from the “The Accountant” actor. In a new interview, the 13 Going on 30″ actor opened up about the “upheaval” in her family, which had a striking effect on her work life.

The actor seemed to be talking about the time she separated from her ex-husband. In the meantime, the actor who shares three kids, Fin, Violet, and Samuel, with ex Ben Affleck, has long been maintaining a co-parenting relationship.

Jennifer Garner seemingly hinted at how her divorce from her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, had an impact on her career in the film industry in a new interview with InStyle magazine. The actor talked about how motherhood led her to make some career decisions. She explained, “First of all, when you’re in a performance kind of role, you give up a year/year-and-a-half of performance.” She continued, “While you are pregnant, having a baby, recovering.”

In the meantime, however, as the news outlet reported, Jennifer Garner “wasn’t ready to retire.” During the interview, the actor from “The Last Thing He Told Me” further revealed, “When my kids were little, I worked so little.” She continued, “And then we had such an upheaval in our family, that I really hardly worked for a long time.”

Meanwhile, in the interview, Jennifer Garner also got candid about how grateful she is to be able to focus on acting. The actor said, “To have this year and a half where I just indulged [in acting], because this job is very selfish.” She then claimed, “It’s all about your schedule.”

The actor further expressed, “It’s not about what the kids have going on at school.” “It’s not about pickups and drop-offs and making it home for dinner,” the actor also added. In the meantime, Jennifer Garner is all set to play the role of Hollis Shaw in the upcoming miniseries, “The Five Star Weekend.” It will make its debut on July 9 on Peacock.
