Lee Andrews has reunited with his wife, Katie Price, and returned to Instagram four days after his release from Dubai’s Al Awir prison. Though the 43-year-old Dubai-based businessman shared an update on his whereabouts, his fans couldn’t help but notice that he was sporting new brown hair, replacing his previous buzz cut.

Andrews posted a video on his Instagram story on June 16, where he said, as quoted by Yahoo News, “I’ve been missing now for several weeks. I can tell you I’m now safe and healthy and with my wife.”
He then claimed, “I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint, and then I was captured by men with assault rifles.” Adding, “They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s, and I was hand-tied, shackled, and also had a hood over my head. From there, I was taken to a black site, and I had no use of my phone, and from what I know, it was an extended arm of the National Guard, and that’s all I can reveal at the moment. I have signed disclaimers now with state security, and from there I was put into the system.”
However, fans were quick to notice his new hair. The noticeable change in Andrews’ appearance before and after his time in prison led some to speculate whether he had undergone a hair transplant or was wearing a toupee. A Reddit user, SharkbabySeal, wrote, as per Metro, “Well, now I’m even more convinced he was never in prison. He’s had a hair transplant.”
One user asked online, as quoted by Mirror, What is with his hair? Is it a wig?” while another commented, “Surely this isn’t a hair transplant—it wouldn’t have grown that much that quickly. It must be a toupee or hairpiece.”
Celeb Traitors star Joanne McNally also wrote in her Instagram caption, “LEE ANDREWS CANNOT DO THIS TO US AGAIN. If this is what being held hostage does to your hairline, I know a tonne of decent men who’d be up for being abducted.” She said in the video, “I need to know immediately: why is Lee Andrews back on the internet talking about his prison ordeal with a full head of fresh new hair that he’s not addressing at all?
Andrews went missing near the Hatta border on May 12 and was arrested on May 23. As previously reported, there are allegations that he has scammed several individuals. Crystal Janke is among several former partners who have spoken out against Andrews. She alleged she invested about $164,000 in Aura Sustainable Vehicles, expecting a $1.26 million return, but never received it.
